Link Technologies is currently recruiting for an Infrastructure Engineer in Mt. Laurel, NJ The engineer must have 7+ years' experience designing and supporting IT infrastructure focusing on the design, installation and support of the company's Linux environment with supplemental support of other IT infrastructure including server hardware, Windows systems, Active Directory, email, storage systems, VMware and AS400.
The Infrastructure engineer will provision new physical and virtual Servers; install system patches; identify and troubleshoot technical issues; provision administrator and user access rights; manage system availability, capacity and performance and maintain system documentation. The engineer will interact with vendors to ensure timely resolutions; evaluate new products and recommend system improvements; assist with system planning, architecture design and engineering and train and mentor team members.
Position requires strong customer service, interpersonal, organizational, project planning, time management and communication skills; proficiency with MS Office applications and availability to work in a 24 hour on-call capacity. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field and Microsoft MCSE certifications are preferred. The experience supporting IT infrastructure should include the following:
Technologies: TCP/IP, NetBIOS, DNS, DHCP, Active Directory, WMI, SNMP
Hardware familiarity with: Dell server platforms, EMC storage arrays and RecoverPoint, F5 server load balancer, AS400
Software/Systems Core: Microsoft Windows ; Microsoft Exchange, VMWare; Landesk management products; McAfee EPO; Redhat/SLES Linux, OS/400.
