The Project Manager Infrastructure represents IT Infrastructure in the related project steerings to guarantee the alignment with IT and the Business and is accountable for the end-to-end delivery. The Project Manager will be assigned to deliver the Infrastructure part of the IT and Business projects.
Job description
Within this setting, your tasks are as follows:
- Leading Teams. Coaches, inspires and provides input and is responsible for the resource planning.
- Project planning, translates the requirements for the project and is responsible for the definition of the scope of the project and its project plan from a cost, schedule and quality perspective.
- Is responsible for the definition and management of the financial baseline of the project and the business case.
- Is responsible for the definition of the time schedule for the project.
- Relationship Management
- Analyses and reports on all risks, issues and change requests. Recommends mitigations and alternative solutions. Defines impact of identified changes and updates the project plan.
- Advice and solutions design using appropriate methodologies to the internal business partner.
- Change Management and communication
- Plans, performs and manages quality assurance for the project. Ensures business partner acceptance and sign-off for the deliverables.
- Service Level Management and Supplier Management
-Performs the lessons learned activities for the Performs the decommissioning for the project. Closes the supplier project. agreement. Defines follow-up on action recommendations for the project
Your profile
Knowledge and experience
- Master's degree in Engineering, IT, Business or Economics with minimum 3-5 years relevant work experience.
- Has professional knowledge of and experience with market segment/industry/technology/discipline trends.
- Has professional knowledge of and experience with Project Management methodologies, Prince II
- Has knowledge of or experience with the IT infrastructure technology or is experienced in dealing with infrastructure or technology driven projects/programs.
- Change management capabilities; coaching and training skills.
- Thorough knowledge of written and spoken English.
- Experience with tooling like Microsoft Project and/or Clarity is a plus.
