Our client is a Global enterprise software vendor, operating in 145 countries worldwide. They are urgently looking to recruit an EMEA Payroll Specialist.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years experience in the field, as well as experience of payroll tax filings; they will have lead and managed payroll year end process and reporting. Amongst other duties, your responsibilities will include:

*Ensuring all employees in a country are paid timely and accurately
*Ensuring that payroll taxes and third party vendor payments are submitted in a timely manner
*Assisting in the successful migration of a country's employees following an acquisition
*Resolving payroll issues within the countries, and adhere to controls that are in place for payroll transactions.
*Liaising with HR, Legal, GCO, Corporate Tax and Stock Services
*Working with Apps IT and Development on product enhancements and reports
*Reviewing payroll processes, procedures, making changes while ensuring adequate controls are in place and followed
*Ensuring that all procedures are thoroughly documented, including check lists to ensure a steps are completed when processing the payroll
*Ensuring compliance within country's payroll tax deadlines
*Ensuring payroll tax liabilities are reported to the appropriate tax authority and reconciled to the GL and underlying payroll sub ledger

The EMEA Payroll Specialist will have experience not just within the UK but also internationally; they will possess a thorough knowledge of Payroll Laws and Regulations of the UK and if possible other countries also.
