A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Software Developer to be based in Brussels, Belgium on a 12 month contract with multiple extensions to follow.
The Senior Software Developer will possess the following skills:
- Unix, C, C++, Database Technical and/or Functional skills
- Unix, C, C++, Python, Database, Mercurial Professional licenses, if any - none
- Good communication skills and must be comfortable in an open communication environment
- Team experience, strong work ethic, resourceful - self motivating
The Senior Software Developer will have the following Responsibilities:
Expert level development using C, C++, Python, Unix (Solaris), database (Sybase/SQL Server), web services, message queuing, object-oriented design and various securities APIs to create high performance server software for delivering timely securities information to customers. Good communication skills, min five years of experience, expert knowledge of the above required. Includes expertise in an area of the code and providing information to others on functionality. Requires the ability to plan and ensure work gets completed with very little oversight.
