Are you a Project Manager with enterprise-level SharePoint experience? Are you interested in joining a quickly growing company as an integral part of a Project/Program consulting team? Our client is looking for a seasoned PM who understands SharePoint's intricacies, who can lead other PMs, and who can deftly manage the most demanding customers. You will need functional understanding of SharePoint deployment and configuration and experience with large-scale SharePoint architecture. In this role, you may be asked to lead large customer-facing development projects, help with internal deployments of complex software, mentor more junior members of the team, and generally contribute to rapid growth in the company.
The qualified candidate will be able to perform the following activities:
- Drive and participate in SharePoint solution architecture activities
- Accurately scope, manage and deliver large, service-oriented web applications on time and on budget
- Drive architecture and requirements sessions with customers
- Build and manage appropriate project staff
- Develop innovative solutions for our clients
- Manage the day-to-day project operations and communications
- Deliver and maintain a risk management plan
- Drive project profitability
- Manage a detailed project schedule and project budget over multiple delivery periods
- Prepare and maintain project documentation: project plan, status reports, risk assessment plans, change requests and resource requests
REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong understanding of the entire life cycle of development projects, as well as software development methodologies, particularly Agile/SCRUM
- Working knowledge of SharePoint governance, development of custom web parts, custom workflows
- Minimum 4 years of SharePoint experience, with a majority in project management, managing multi-phased, SharePoint projects from concept through development, and test cycles, preferably within an agency environment
- Knowledge of the differences between SharePoint products
- Familiarity with complementary technologies such as SQL Server, Windows Server, IIS, etc.
- Experience managing challenging projects and customers
- B.A. or B.S. degree, Computer Science Degrees highly preferred
- SharePoint certifications highly preferred
