Infrastructure Test Leader - Our client, a leading financial organisation is looking for a Test Leader to join their team for a 6 month role. As Infrastructure Test Lead, you will work on infrastructure projects and Financial Roadmap projects which aim at upgrading existing financial packages software. Platforms will be UNIX, Windows, Linux, Solaris, Mainframe and Tandem. You will define cross platform testing and launching strategy based on a risk approach, plan testing activities, manage test preparation and execution, managing defects from Quality Centre, reporting on test progress and results and organising the launch activities in production.
Further duties of Infrastructure Test Lead include coordinating efforts with stakeholders such as technical teams responsible for infrastructure, business teams and service partners as well as obtaining sign off on key deliverables from them.
Infrastructure Test Lead skills required:
- Cross platform skills, focusing on distributed domains
- Quality Centre
- Extensive project testing experience, knowledge of risk based testing, familiar with V-model concepts
- Able to use test case selection techniques to design test cases
- Able to write test summary report and communicate during go/no go meetings
- Can manage teams and relationships with various divisions, entities and service partners
Strong organisational skills, able to manage several projects at the same time
- Strong communication skills, able to present and liaise with all levels of staff
- Defect management
- Business knowledge
- ISTQB or ITIL certification would be brilliant
