Brand new opportunity for 5 x Senior Java Analyst Programmers for a Government department. The role will initially be 6 months with a likely extension. The position is working in an Agile environment in a team of around 30. The ideal candidate will have the flexibility to move within the organisation and the ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
In order to carry out the role you will have experience in the following areas:
- 10 years experience within IT
- 5-10 years Java development experience
- Must be an Australian Citizen and be eligible for security clearance
- UI technologies experience with JSP and JSF
- Database interfaces such as JPA and Hibernate
- Case management, business intelligence, CRM solutions and workflow
- XML, XSD, SOAP Webservices, JUnit and JBoss experience
- Database knowledge in SQL and Oracle
- Must possess the ability to mentor others
- Financial services experience highly regarded
- Knowledge of ITIL principles
- Experience working within a small dynamic team
