My client are a global market leading consultancy with looking for a systems validation consultant to work in the automotive sector based in there Italian based offices

The System Validator consultant is responsible for System Validation of Analog Tuner components running in the Head Unit, mainly from End User perspective

  • Must be able to understand the System Requirements and High Level Features(HLF) for Tuner FM and AM defined in DOORS tool
  • Must be able to implement the Test Cases based on the Requirements and HLF for Tuner FM and AM, understand the Use Cases.
  • Flashing the Head Unit with different System Builds and using related Tools
  • Planning, creation and execution of the tests using the Test environment Setup
  • Collecting Log and TRACE information for the Test executed
  • Evaluation and reporting of the results

Technical ability needed for this System validation consultant

  • C/C++ programming skills(Basic), Programming skills in Scripting knowledge - Automated testing, UML(Basics)
  • Experience working in Automotive/Embedded domain and proficiency in Real Time OS (Linux, Linux Embedded)
  • Understand Tuner components and related Terminologies - RDS, TMC, TA, Frequencies, WaveBands, Preset Memories etc.
  • Related tools - MOST Optolyzer, Diagnostic Log and Trace.
  • Familiar with automotive bus systems, MOST,CAN and related tools like CANanalyzer is an advantage
  • Experience in System Validation Life Cycle
