Description
One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a Storage Engineer for an initial 6 months contract based in Brussels. The rates are currently negotiable.
Skills and Experience:
- Working knowledge of spoken French AND Dutch is compulsory
- Brocade SAN management.
- IBM Disk Storage systems (IBM DS8300).
- IBM DS8300 DSCLI.
- HP9500 disk Storage system.
- HP9500 Raidcom CLI.
- HP9500 Raidmanager AE CLI.
- PPRC replication protocol.
- Defining zoning, LUN masking.
- Physical planning management (provide cabling and environmental information).
- Network basics.
- I-Series/(AS-400).
- z/OS or other Mainframe system.
- Windows OS and subsystem.
- Unix OS and subsystem.
Duties:
- Define Architecture and design of the storage solution.
- Responsible for the deployment and 2nd/3rd line support.
