Description
Our client require 2 x AD 'Subject Matter Experts' to help them refine and develop their current global AD platform and processes, ready to migrate 30,000 of their employees into the new structure.Working with their Global Head of Directory Services this is a hands-on role incorporating both design and implementation of AD 2003.
The Remit:
- Restructure GPO within a new OU structure & delegation model within the existing domain.
- Migrate users to the new OU structure & possibly help with post migration support issues.
- Windows 2008 R2 Domain Controller roll-out.
- Maintaining security, integrity and high availability of AD architecture
- Providing a senior escalation point for 3rd line AD support issues
Key Skills and Experience:
- 5+ years Active Directory experience in a multi domain environment, ideally in a 3,000+ user environment
- Very strong Active Directory 2003 (GPO, DNS, DHCP, LDAP)
- Some VBScript experience
- Understanding of GPO in a Citrix environment
- Understanding of Change Control Processes
- Ideally an MCSE in Windows 2003 or higher
