Our client is a world leader in terms of offering solutions for wiring the global aerospace market: engineering services, manufacturing and installation. This is and excellent opportunity for a Fatigue Stress Engineer.
Description/Tasks
FEM calculations using NASTRAN/PATRAN FEA (GFEM)
Dynamic FEM calculations
Structural adjustment and optimisation of the FEM model
Includes both dynamic and static calculations
Qualification/Experience
A minimum of 1 year stress experience within the aviation sector
Dynamic FEM calculation experience
Experience with global FEM model (GFEM)
Modal/natural frequency calculation
FEM Software
NASTRAN/PATRAN
MS Office
Excel/VBA for Excel appreciated
