Software engineer - framework and system software
You work in a development team that designs, implements and maintains the framework and system software components of our navigation Middleware system. This navigation Middleware system consists of portable C++ code and is used in navigation products and customer in-dash products. Functionality include container classes, cooperative scheduler, memory manager, IPC frameworks, tooling.
Responsibilities:
Design, implementation and maintenance of framework software
Experience
* Minimum 5 years software development experience in a commercial environment
* Strong design knowledge of modern software architecture
* Solid understanding of at least one Embedded operating system
* Experience working on large product development efforts
* Strong in Embedded C++
* Experience with Java & Android
* Good written and spoken communication skills
* Ability to work & think at system level
