The client is a large Financial Institution in Luxembourg.. They are now looking for several external resources as detailed below:
Role: Software Engineer (female/male)
Field of activity:
Software engineering on Creation Settlement Engine and RTS.
Tasks/responsibilities:
Broad range of development activities including (not limited to):
Working with business and functional analysts to determine settlement solutions.
Functional and Technical Design.
Coding of solutions.
Perform applications testing (unit, integration, regression) of large scale systems.
Supporting all activities related to end to end testing including support for business testers.
Qualifications/required skills:
Some development experience with Java, C++, Unix, SQL.
Appreciation of software development and test process for mission critical systems.
Team player.
Quality focussed and able to make a contribution to productivity improvements.
Delivery and deadline driven.
Excellent communication skills.
Additional Skills considered as an advantage:
Functional understanding of key business processes (ie matching, validation, settlement).
Experience of development methodologies and life-cycles.
Any team leading experience.
Experience with Clearcase
UML design experience
Knowledge of Perl/Shell Scripts to aid development analysis.
Application compilation/linking.
Performance tuning experience.
A previous experience within Clearstream is a strong asset .
