Our client is a super high-visibility computer manufacturer seeking a qualified Server Developer for a contract opportunity. The candidate in this role will be involved in some new application development, ongoing development, testing, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, review, analysis, modifications and documentation to improve build automation components and processes for greater flexibility and performance.

OVERVIEW:

  • Support the deployment of build capabilities to live environments
  • Maintain source and data branches in version control
  • Debug issues related to deployment
  • Maintain and enhance build applications and capabilities

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience, mid-level expertise or better
  • Experience with the Microsoft .NET framework
  • Experience with application development using C# and OOP techniques
  • Experience developing database applications using Microsoft T-SQL required
  • Experience working with XML and using XML tools required
  • Experience with ASP.NET and web development (HTML, JavaScript, etc.) in general
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong debugging and root cause analysis skills
  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal

Additional Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Perforce and/or Clearcase
  • NANT, MSBUILD, CruiseControl or any other build automation tools
