Description
My client based in the centre of Brussels is looking for compliance Project Coordinator. This is a six month contract to start as soon as possible. You will be expected to travel to France and UK as part of the role.
As a compliance project coordinator you will be responsible for:
- Design and implement a robust framework to manage four different domains: AML and/or Market Abuse and/or Conflict of Interest and/or Data Protection. This includes the definition of policies, trainings and controls and monitoring measures.
- Define to project plan, budget, milestones, business interviews, and recommendations to ensure delivery of above mentioned frameworks for end of 2012.
- Support the building of the team members' knowledge in the above mentioned domains
- Support raising the awareness of staff members on those 4 domains.
- Focus will first be on Belgium and if successful roll-out to other entities.
You must have:
- Proven relevant experience in AML, Conflict of interest, market abuse or data protection.
- Knowledge of minimum of two of those domains is needed.
- Relevant experience as member of a compliance department, ideally within a financial institution
- 8 years relevant experience
- Autonomous, proactive, good communication skills and result oriented, working with tight deadline.
