Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced MV-SPMS Lifecycle Manager for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Contract Position based in the UKJob Description:
Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of Multi Vendor Spare Part Management Service, including warehouse management and order management, meeting agreed internal service KPI’s with reasonable cost
Key Responsibilities:
• Collecting & distributing information and providing feedback related to the commercial (Last Time Buy) and/or technical EOS (End of Support) aspects of support on a Product Family and/or Product Area and Business Solution. Each unit will process the information accordingly, e.g. re-dimensioning and physical adjustment of stock levels, update of Service Unit List, etc)
• Managing 3rd party vendor to implement a life cycle management processes, e.g. to follow the end of support exemption process.
• Managing 3rd party vendor to release the life cycle management documentation, pricing information, support plans.
• Work out alternative support service solutions or modernization plans for end of support products.
• Recording in Database relevant key products & services information
• Feedback quality recordings and exceptional product behavior findings to the customer and original vendor.
Qualifications:
• Degree in Electronic/logistics or equivalent, and preferred with postgraduate training in the said industries
• Extensive experience of complex MV-SPMS management experience in telecommunications environment.
• Experience in different service related areas with emphasis on logistic services is preferable.
• Good pragmatic/pro-active/communication/analytical management skills.
