Manning Global is currently looking for an experienced Vendor Management Manager for one of our clients, a leading International Telecommunications Company for a Contract Position based in the UKJob Description:
Responsible for managing internal and external ‘supplier’ relationships to ensure value for money is delivered to the business and that the service delivered by suppliers remains fit for purpose and continues to meet organizational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage operational assurance with the Third Party Contract Managers ensuring that operational activities are performed according to the SLA and KPI requirements.
• Provide a customer escalation point for all KPI /operations delivery performance deviations.
• Drive continuous improvement of the MV Support Platform for the customer, technology vendors and our Client internal functions.
• Understand all 3rd party services and the underpinning contracts & costs that support said services
• Evaluate service risks & define options/recommendations on appropriate balance of risk/reward in relation to support & maintenance costs vs. service level provided
• Develops strong working relationship with suppliers, Supply Chain Management, Finance, and our Clients colleagues and business stakeholders to provide proactive service and to achieve / exceed business required service quality standards
Qualifications:
• 3rd level qualification (Technical aptitude with financial/commercial awareness – engineering degree with exposure to finance)
• Extensive vendor management experience in telecommunications environment.
• Experience in different service related areas with emphasis on RAN and transmission is preferable.
• Strong stakeholder and supplier/vendor management experience
• Strong leadership, motivational, influencing and negotiation skills
• Experience managing cross functional and virtual teams
