Global Insurance client based in the Midlands is sourcing for a very capable qualified accountant ideally from a consultancy background. This is one of multiple hires to join a largely greenfield, group wide separation/transformation programme. These roles, among other factors are crucial for assisting Group Finance to produce monthly MI & quarterly forecasting.

You will be working very closely with business areas specifically aligned to certain Insurance products, so a background in Insurance is the preferred choice. Your role will centre around detailed analysis for the overall Group Finance function to be able to respond to finance related queries, and solving issues as an analyst.

Must Have:

• Recent Insurance industry experience
• Very strong understanding of USGAAP, UKGAAP and ideally IFRS as well
• Detailed Technical accounting and Business Analysis experience
• Finance reporting background, along with a good understanding of finance change within the Insurance sector

This role is based in the Midlands and the successful applicant must be able to work onsite from Monday to Friday.
