A large government agency is actively looking for
Server and Infrastructure Specialist's to provide specialist services in regard to desktop hardware and software configuration within the departments Standard Operating Environment (SOE). In conjunction you will provide 3rd level support services for desktop SOE issues and participate fully in the project management process and endeavour to achieve client outcomes in the most effective way. The successful applicant will have a combination of the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge and experience developing and supporting the software desktop products
- Highly developed Microsoft SCCM skills
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in application virtualisation technologies, AppV preferable
- Extensive Knowledge and experience in Microsoft Server 2008, Windows 7, SCOM, AD, DNS and Office 2010
- Scripting skills in Powershell/VB/Batch scripts
- Demonstrate highly developed problem diagnostic skills and troubleshooting applications
On offer to the successful candidates will be a 12 month contract with a 12 month extension. Contract rates are negotiable based on skills and experience.
