Description
Our international client is looking for a SAP Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Functional
Consultant. This is a fantastic opportunity as the contract will be for a year in a tax free zone.
The ideal candidate would have 10 years of total SAP experience, 3-5 years in SAP SRM business process experience in a Functional or Techno-Functional Consultant role. 2-4 years SRM implementation experience. Please have a look at the details below for further requirements.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Participate in implementation planning, fit analysis, configuration, testing, rollout, post-implementation
and support. Working with project teams throughout the full SAP implementation life cycle to ensure
alignment with company strategy and apply a SAP standard rather than customized solution.
- Responsible advisor for new implementations, upgrades, unbundling roll outs and support projects with
focus on SAP SRM.
- As an SME, consultant should be able to analyze and translate business requirements to functional
specifications and provide recommendations and best practices around solution design.
- Analyze problem statements, suggest various options to address the problem specifying functionality,
integrating systems, applying patches and participating in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Communicate SAP SRM capabilities/possibilities within multiple functional areas
- Analyze work requests, provide estimations, drive the review of business requirements and business
processes with business and IT stakeholders
- Support the project team with analysing options and documenting the SAP SRM design to fulfil system
and business processes requirements ensuring adherence to SAP standards and procedures .
- Assisting with the SAP Business Blueprint including process design and gap analysis to standard SAP functionality.
- Assist and ensure proper development of as-is and to-be business processes and creation of Use Cases
- Assist Integration Lead, business process owner, and other Team Leads in scoping and execution of
integration activities.
- Review and coordinate between completing projects test cases for business validation, and Users
Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Coordinate system testing, Legacy data mapping and integration, specification of non-standard SAP enhancements
- Assist and coordinate design workshops and meetings for requirement gathering sessions, and solution presentations for small to large audiences.
- Advise on delivery of the technology/process deliverables related to the implementation and support of
SAP SRM and its integration with the SAP ECC MM module (for purchasing, procurement and
contracting).
CRITICAL SKILLS/COMPETENCIES/QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required.
- Preferred Certified as SAP SRM Functional Consultant.
- Knowledge and implementation experience of SAP SRM 7.0 and above.
- Strong Techno-Functional skill-set and deep understanding of the technical tool set which delivers the required functionality.
- Strong analytical and de-bugging skills.
- Worked on implementation and support projects.
- Functional knowledge of processes integration points with HR/FI/MM/PM/PS.
- Strong knowledge and experience in MM (Purchasing, Procurement, Contracting).
- Knowledge of "best practices" built into the SAP software for SRM.
- Experienced in functional and technical specification development.
- Team player, proactive attitude, and strong interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and sustain effective relationships with customers and IS organization.
- Good design skills and architectural skills in the technical area.
- Basic knowledge of project system PS.
- Good understanding of project management skills and knowledge of the ASAP project life cycle.
- Abilit to manage and prioritise multiple concurrent tasks and deliver on commitments
