Description
My client based in Brussels is looking for an experienced IMS/DB2 DBA/Security Specialist.
Your main task will be to collaborate in the security related projects of the team. These projects aim to reassess and remodel the current DB2/IMS security model, to be compliant to the security standards, and to comply with audit recommendations.
You will also (directly or indirectly) reinforce the team for other DBA assignments: design, installation, tuning, DB- and release follow-up and support to the developers. In the accomplishment of your work you must follow the IT processes and possibly you will help the team to improve its maturity in these IT processes.
You will need to have 3- 5 years professional experience in a similar position.
We are looking for someone who is a quick self-starter with pro-active attitude, good communication and influencing skills
You must have and be able to demonstrate:
Technical Mainframe knowledge of IMS and DB2
DBA Specialization for one DBMS (either IMS or DB2)
Additional knowledge of the other DBMS is a plus
Good knowledge of English, French and Dutch is also required.
