Exchange Engineer - Migration to Resource forest

The International messaging team is preparing the migration of 4000+ APAC Exchange mailboxes.

Functional Responsibilities:

The Exchange Migration Engineer will support the International Messaging team with the migration from Exchange 2003(Single Forest ) to 2007(Resource Forest).

The engineer will assist with preparing migrations, troubleshooting migration issues, AD data manipulation, Scripting and troubleshooting end-user issues and where required advice on migration approach and method.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with Microsoft Exchange migrations in a 5000+ mailbox environment
• Experience using the Exchange Move-Mailbox cmdlet for migrating mailbox data between different Exchange organizations.
• Strong Active Directory experience, manipulating AD objects, adding LegacyExchangeDN for mail routing
• Advanced Scripting: PowerShell and/or VBScript
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills

Knowledge and experience with:

• Exchange 2007 in a Exchange Resource Forest environment.
• Exchange Migration from Single Forest to Resource Forest
• Enterprise Vault email archiving
• Blackberry Enterprise Server
• Exchange 2007 on VMware
