Purpose of role
The SAP Transition Support team leader will work jointly with their counterpart to manage the Transition Support activities related to the implementation of the Client Business Solution.

The Transition Support team leader will manage activities across four work streams including:
- Business engagement
- Communications
- Business change
- Learning and performance support

This includes planning, managing and providing direction on the design and development of Transition Support strategies, plans, deliverables and tools.

This role will work closely with the global SAP Transition Support team, implementation project team members and business unit representatives. This role will coach and provide methodology and change expertise to the Client business Transition Support leader.

Key Consultant Criteria:

The role requires an experienced business change, communications and learning professional with demonstrated experienced in leading the people related change aspects of an SAP implementation project.

The SAP Transition Support team leader is responsible for the following key activities:
- Implement the Transition Support Strategy activities defined during the project definition phase
- Manage scope, quality, effort, issues, timing, risks and project plans associated with the implementation of Transition Support initiatives
- Provide progress reports to project leadership and the SAP Transition Support manager at required intervals
- Plan and contribute to business unit engagement initiatives, including maintaining contact with the business unit leadership and identified stakeholders
- Manage the development and execution of business unit communications plan
- Manage the business impact assessment process and execution of the transition action actions across the implementation phases
- Contribute to the coordination and conduct of business role mapping to validate the assignment of required training and access
- Manage the preparation, development and delivery of all aspects of the learning and performance support approach including required business unit learning materials and training delivery -
- Support the business unit training coordinators and trainers with learning and performance support related activities
- Manage, task assign and provide guidance/knowledge transfer to Transition Support team members
- Manage alignment and consistency of messages and approaches with the IS&T
Transition Support methodology, tools and templates.

Skills and competencies;

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated Transition Support/change management team leader experience working on large scale business transformation initiatives (particularly SAP)
- Strong project management skills (including issue and risk management)
- Ability to think conceptually and drive practical solutions for the business unit
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships (with project and business unit stakeholders
- Fluent in French and English languages
