Job Description:
Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a Next-Gen Enterprise Communications Architect. Looking for an Enterprise communications architect with in-depth knowledge and proven experience in strategic design, build and implementation of large scale communication environments on a global scale. This person is responsible for helping to develop and overseeing the implementation and operation of technology investment plans that align with Bank of America business requirements and objectives. A strong grasp of enterprise business operations, and oral and written communication is required. The candidate must possess an ability to fully comprehend, analyze and interpret vendor technology strategies and their impacts to the larger ecosystem of voice technologies and related systems in Bank of America. The candidate must possess the ability synthesize these impacts in quantifiable financial and business terms. Proven experience in building out large networks to support voice services, centralized applications, Unified Communications and integrated environments. Candidate must be able to think strategic and communicate ideas and benefits at an Executive level.
Must have in-depth knowledge of large, complex dial-plans, core routing and switching, VLANs, Inter-cluster Trunking, capacity planning and carrier integration. In addition, the candidate must have advanced knowledge around Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Session Border Controllers and session management. Must be able to work with partners and manufacturers to drive future products and services as well as across organizations and LOBs to support product teams in the delivery of advanced features to optimize the technology value proposition.

Required Skills:
-Significant Experience with Cisco, Microsoft, Avaya, ACME, Sonus, IPC Carrier Services and large integrators (HP, IBM).
-Unified Communications Framework.
-Carrier/Enterprise IMS.
-Governance of outsourced vendors.
-International VoIP management.
-Active Directory.
-Exchange.
-PSTN/TDM/SIP trunking.
-Session Border Control.
-TDM to VoIP experience.
-Vendor Management.
-Engineering Undergraduate Degree.
-Strong Architecture and Technical Acumen.
-Carrier class Voice competency.
-Virtual Team Experience.
