Description
Exciting opportunity to join a leading international healthcare company in their Sydney head office. Working closely with the senior management team, this pivotal role will be responsible for leading and managing an efficient and effective IT function to provide end-to-end IT services to the group's local and international business groups. Initially a 6 month contract, there is an option to move into a permanent position.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare, manage and develop annual IT budget and strategy
* Ensure IT service is delivered in a timely and consistent manner
* Investigate and escalate issues to resolution with owners, vendors and group resources
* Interact with project and architecture teams to ensure key projects are delivered on time
* Conduct research, tenders and negotiate IT costs including data communications, telephony, hardware and software
Key Requirements:
* Tertiary and professional IT qualifications
* 5-10 years proven experience in a similar IT manager position
* Significant project management experience
* Experience dealing with service providers
* Strong knowledge of .NET, Cisco, VMWare and SAN technologies
