Description
Our client is a world renowned computer hardware manufacturer looking for a Software Configuration Management (SCM) expert to assist with enabling the software development community.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Providing client support to end users of the SCM tools
- Provide administrative support for source control systems, assisting others with complex source control issues
- Participation in the integration of source control with third party tools
- Involvement with the migration of sources from one source control tool to another
- Deployment of source control capabilities to live environments, including maintaining source and data branches in version control, and debugging issues related to deployment
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with SCM administration/implementation
- Knowledge of branching techniques/methodologies
- Experience with Perforce administration
- Knowledge of Rational ClearCase
- Experience supporting cross site development teams
Additional Skills (Nice to Have):
- Familiarity with Linux
- Experience with C#
- Experience with PERL and/or Python
