Description
We are currently looking for an E-commerce Manager for a 3 year fixed term contract.
- Responsible for setting and subsequent delivery of Online sales channel targets, weekly, quarterly, annually
- Understands customer behaviour and pain points in key sales journeys and actively addresses these to improve site conversion
- Strives to continually improve conversion rates and repeat use of the Online channel through greater understanding of online customer segments and motivations.
- Produces operational reports on Online channel KPI performance and uses data to highlight variations to plan and develop improvement initiatives with various stakeholders.
- Works with relevant business areas to drive extra customer value and channel differentiation in the Online channel.
- Has a clear view and understanding of issues driving order breakage and continually works towards reducing these through journey enhancements, functionality development and Back Office process improvement.
- Ensures all sales pages are optimised for SEO and user experience (including facilitation of multi-channel journeys).
- Delivers targeted benefits committed to in the online Consumer sales programme
- Works with Marketing to deliver and continually measure the effectiveness of a digital marketing strategy (to include a mix of online, ATL and BTL advertising and PR) ensuring online requirements are met in the most efficient and effective manner.
