A Leading Telecommunications Giant based in Sydney's CBD is urgently seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their team on an initial 6 month contract.

Under direction and guidance of Senior staff, this role facilitates the documentation of policies, procedures and processes within the organisation and Transition and Transformation of their customer environments. Working closely with Program and Project managers, this team based delivery role will support multi million dollar accounts.This role concentrates on the process analysis ("as-is" and "to-be") and documentation of the Organisations and customer's processes, in an effort to align them. The role also requires the establishment of strong working relationships within Telstra's business, customer's business, technology stakeholders, vendors and other service providers throughout the life cycle of the project.The role is also required to document policies, procedure and processes across T&T customer and internal activities and accounts.

  • Ability to mentor staff, with proven transfer of skills.
Essential Experience, Skills and Qualification

  • Excellent communications skills - written and verbal
  • Strong Process mapping and documentation skills (As-Is to To-Be)

  • Excellent organisational skills and proven ability to achieve objectives.
  • Good understanding and appreciation of Problem & Change Control policies and procedures.
  • Sound general understanding of the IT&T industry, technology trends and practices
  • Experience in the Telco industry is a plus
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite including Visio
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or 3+ years experience in a similar role
