Job Description
You will work with the client customers, suppliers and our own product development teams, as well as our training departments. Since you will interface with a wide range of nationalities and cultures, you will need well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly. But above all, you must have the ability to continually seek and identify genuine opportunities for product improvement - ideas that can be implemented by our new product development teams.
Main responsibilities
Field service:
*Be the expert in analysis of complex structural problems on your sub-module
*Knowledge transfer to local service organizations
*Be the knowledge link between development and operational sectors
*Define spare parts and tooling and write the associated documentation for our global service organisation
New product design:
*Represent the field organisation and ensure its requirements are implemented in the design
*Analyze product performance and define requirements for design improvement
*Review technical documentation of the multidisciplinary development team
Education
Bachelor degree in one of the following: Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Optics/Physics, Computer Sciences or Mathematics.
Experience
Preferably in a technical high-tech environment.
Personal Skills
In addition to being passionate about continuous product improvement, you must have excellent communication skills as well as adequate English language (spoken and written). You must also be a team player with a flexible attitude, loads of initiative and a dedicated customer focus. Willingness to travel internationally is a "plus". All this with a "detective style hunger" to identify and solve mysteries and see those solutions implemented in the products of the future.
