Description
A leading provider of Financial Services have an upcoming vacancy for a developer with their Front Office team joining Ab Initio and Java experts.
There are several upcoming projects within Fixed Income, as a result a Developer is required to be involved in the technical review, implementation and support of these deliverables. In addition there will be an element of BAU activity, providing bug fixes to the existing code.
Key skills required;
- UNIX Shell Scripting
- AbInitio, batch, continuous and web service based development experience
- Java and Webservices
- Microsoft Excel VBA
- Message Queueing: IBM WebSphere MQ Series, AbInitio queues.
- Knowledge of standard message formats such as XML
- Oracle 9i, Oracle P/L SQL Developer/Toad/CAST
- MS SQL 2000, MS SQL Query Analyser
- Stored procedures
- Competent construction of SQL queries
- Any Datamodelling tools or techniques would be of advantage
Any French or Dutch language skills would be highly advantageous.
