Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator - Investment Banking - Contract - London - Solaris 10, Redhat, Sun Cluster, Zones, ZFS, VMware, Oracle - London - Contract - Investment Banking - Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator
Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator required by leading Investment Bank located in Central London.
The successful Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator will provide Senior technical support to both UNIX and Linux related projects both over the phone and customer facing. A big part of this position will be an input on new procedures and standards.
The successful Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator must have prior banking experience and be happy with doing some out of hours support.
The successful Senior Linux/Unix Systems Administrator will require the following skills/experience:
- Excellent understanding of Solaris 10
- Excellent Linux experience (ideally Redhat)
- Sun cluster, Zones and ZFS experience to a high level
- Experience with D-Trace and System-TAP (nice to have)
- Veritas Cluster, File System and Volume Manager experience to a high level
- Good understanding of the Sun & HP Range of Hardware
- Must have experience of working in a Banking or Financial environment
- Currently working in a Senior System Administrator role
- Appreciate of ITIL Standards
