Description
Our Global Electronic Engineering client in Dundee currently requires an Electronics Engineer to join them on a contract basis.
Electronics Engineer:
- Under limited supervision, performs a variety of moderately complex technical tasks to assist engineers with electronic systems.
- May assist engineers with fabricating and assembling electronics subassemblies for prototype models from schematics, rough sketches, and verbal instructions.
- May perform calibration checks on electronic instruments.
- May completely troubleshoot an electronics system to determine cause and Remedy for malfunctions.
- May conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing, solving mechanical or electronic problems involved in the operation of the product, and otherwise assisting in general laboratory work.
- Typically requires 2 years technical training and 2 to 4 years related experience.
- Experience Electronic Engineer Analogue and Digital design experience
- Experience of Schematic Entry and Schematic Simulations
- PCB layout knowledge
- Formal Test Methods
- Debugging and fault finding skills
- Experience of design for EMC compliance
- Knowledge of security anti tamper design methodologies
