Description
My client is looking for a C++ engineer plugin experience for a leading telecoms company based in Dublin.
The role is for 6 months initially but will be extended
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience, and a minimum 2-year to 4-years industry experience
EXPERIENCE INDICATORS
- Content of industry experience and ability to clearly describe technical content.
- Any product development experience. Post-production experience.
- Any customer focused work
SKILLS
Essential:
- Object Oriented languages such as C++
- Broad understanding of telecommunications
- Demonstrable analysis abilities
- Scripting languages such as Shell, TCL, DCL
- Some knowledge of Openet product suites
Useful:
- Troubleshooting with various analysis tools and debuggers including dbx, mdb, gdb, pstack and pmap and understanding core files and how to interpret them
- Unix Scripting
- Billing/Mediation systems
- Telecomms protocol experience, eg HTTP, Diameter, SOAP, CORBA, RADIUS, GTP', SNMP, LDAP, SSH, SS7
- Unix Scripting
- Multi-threaded programming experience, including pthreads API and thread synchronization techniques
- Design and development methodologies
- Oracle (or other relational database experience)
