Engineering Programme Coordinator (A400M) [Contract]

This is a key role in supporting Engineering Programme delivery.

The position provides oversight, transparency and reporting of performance against the programme engineering schedules.

You will be required:

  • To develop and maintain the Engineering schedule for the programme (s),
  • Analyse any requested changes to schedule and report on the consequences and impact as well as providing guidance on how to mitigate any adverse programme issues.
  • You'll provide visibility of near term and midterm resource requirements which will support the allocation of task to the Engineering disciplines and provide regular reports on the engineering programme performance including both schedule adherence and cost.

Additional Requirements

In addition you will be able to ensure clear and accurate communication between the Engineering leaders and functional heads with regard to the engineering schedule and budgets and provide updated Engineering project plans for presentation to the customer.

Candidate

  • The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Project Engineering or Programme Management role within an engineering environment, as well as expertise in project management methodologies.
  • Likely to be from an engineering discipline ideally within an aerospace environment, you must be highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Project and Excel. Numerate and articulate with excellent data analysis and reporting skills.

You must show yourself able to influence stakeholders at all levels within the business, have excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to rationalise, assess and evaluate information that may not always be clear. Possessing good judgement in considering when escalation is appropriate, you will be strong minded and committed, focussed on delivery and must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

This is a six month contract based in the Isle of Wight paying between £26 - £30 per hour Ltd.
