Description
These are one (1) year contracts with a possibility of converting to permanent.
A typical workday starts at 7:30AM and ends at 4:00PM.
Overtime and adjusted work schedules may become necessary for some project assignments.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop J2EE enterprise applications.
- Maintain software design documentation.
- Elicit, document, and develop requirements for service requests consisting of less than 40 hours effort.
- Mentor and provide technical assistance to less experienced developers.
- Participate in software design and peer reviews.
- Participate in Change Management Activities.
Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum of 10 years software development experience.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in Java development.
- Experience developing and deploying enterprise applications using J2EE.
- Experience with J2EE Frameworks such as Struts and Hibernate.
- Experience with Spring Framework is a plus.
- Experience implementing applications using DB2 and JDBC.
- Candidates selected for hire must pass a drug screening during client's orientation.
