SPLUNK Security Designer

Leading Asia Pacific Professional Services firm requires a Security Designer with SIEM/SPLUNK experience for a 6 - 12 months plus contract based in the CBD of Sydney.

Your role will see you working closely with their financial services based client helping them with their security design review.

On a daily basis you will be involved in;

• Security design review of architecture across core banking Software Deliver Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables (ISOs, Tech Specs, etc)
• Ensure the security principles and disciplines are followed and the Exemptions process is executed where deviations arise.
• Security Impact Analysis of project scope change with the Core Banking programme
• Recommend and manage security initiatives throughout the project life cycle
• Identify and alignment of non-functional security requirements with functional requirements

To succeed in this role you will have;

• A good understanding of SIEM and particularly SPLUNK experience, from a design and implementation perspective in a tenant environment
• Exposure to .NET Web applications (IFWServices), IBM WebSphere (BPH), IBM Message Queue (MQHub), AIX, Mainframe, Wintel, Java, z/OS, DB2, SAP, Oracle,
• Experience with infrastructure appliances such as;  Load Balancers (F5s), Cisco Pix and ASA Firewalls, NetApp NAS,
• Security solution experience in PKI, Log Mgmt, IDAM, Kerberos and Mutual Authentication
