Rate: £30 - £35 Negotiable

A leading organisation, based in Cumbria, which specialises in providing bespoke solutions to Aerospace and Defence organisations, is looking to recruit an additional Software Engineer due to an ever increasing work load. This contract will be for an initial 6 months but has the potential to extend.
Within this role you'll be working in a full life cycle environment from software development through to verification and then producing formal documentation. You'll be developing solely in C, specifically Misra C, for the full development cycle of this project. Whilst in this position you'll be working with low level unit testing and integration as well as interfacing to hardware.
Essential Skills:

Desirable Skills:
A working understanding of 8 bit Microcontrollers

Conversant with working to Safety Critical Standards

This role will give you the opportunity to work through a full life cycle development within a growing and stable organisation. Initially a 6 month sign up, with the potential for extensions, working within an existing design team that is growing in size and experience.
