Our client is a super high-visibility computer components manufacturer seeking a Test Technician for an excellent contract opportunity. If you have Scripting and Linux skills, contact us right away!
The candidate in this position offloads lab-related experiments from the research team and provides automated processes. This will streamline testing efforts and increase efficiency and timeliness of benchmarks. The Research Test Technician will run performance and power tests on prototype computing devices, and automate the steps via Scripting.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years' experience in computer science, Scripting, and hardware
- Must understand Linux operating systems and have computer science background for automating and running performance/power measurements
- Scripting skills a must
- Experience in any of the following a plus: Linux admin, desktop support (Windows, Linux), experience in computer lab and/or data center environments
