We are looking for candidates with the following profile:
DESCRIPTION OF TASKS
Hard and software engineering for server virtualisation, installation, integration, testing and configuration.
Management and administration of the test room "Virtualisation Platform"
Provision of support to the users of these facilities
Management of Servers, workstations including operating systems installation and upgrades.
Manage users and user access rights.
Perform system maintenance tasks (data backup, hardware upgrades etc.)
Monitor correct operations of the system.
Storage and server infrastructure configuration, support and management including availability,connectivity, performance, security, and protection in relation with virtualisation technologies.
Planning and support of migration activities.
Development of technical documentation (compilation of evaluation reports, user guides, best practice guides, documentation of procedures
OTHER PRECISIONS
Required knowledge and skills:
Senior:
6 years of experience + university
Midlevel:
4 years of experience + university
Proven experience in the above mentioned tasks is essential.
A degree in computer science or a related field.
Solid understanding of server virtualisation and data backup technologies associated with server virtualisation and cloud computing.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server Architectures, Windows systems management, and monitoring.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V and vSphere including management, administration and monitoring.
Experience with software related to server management (backups, quotas, ...)
Good interpersonal and communications skills; capable of writing documentation, proposals or papers.
Language requirements:
Fluency in English is essential
Other languages an advantage
Duration:
