Our client are a large local government organisation and are looking for an experienced assistant engineer to join their team. This is initially a 3 month contract, however this may be extended for the right person. Our client is looking for someone to come on board and help with a number of engineering projects from concept to completion.To be considered for this role you will have worked in a similar role ideally within a public sector environment and will possess a HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering as well as a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience in design, specification of electrical works. It is also essential that you have4 extensive experience of using AutoCAD 2012 drawing development and a knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and design will also be required. The use of CYMAP design software and knowledge of educational design requirements would be advantageous.
