For one of our Clients, global company, we are looking for Senior BW/ABAP consultant who will be located in Kista (next to Stockholm) in Sweden.
Project name: Clean up retention
Period: 1/7 - 31/
Open seat description: Senior consultant with BW and ABAP skills who is capable of driving a project, analyze the BW landscape as a whole, and communicate well with business and IBM organisations. Activities include Retention period and clean up of data o Review Ericsson's retention document and change where applicable.
Project description: Reduce the database by deleting redundant data and setting retention time on the DSO layer and Cube layer and making sure it will be handed over as a continuous task in the AO (IBM)organization. Also have an approach for clean up of Master Data. Go thru all the cubes that are on the accelerator (BWA) and remove data that don't need to be there. This task will be highly dependent on good collaboration with the data owners in the business.
Additional comments:
BWA
o Set up a working process for managing space in the BWA
o Review the cubes on the accelerator and work with data owners in the business to secure a priority list.
o Implement the recommendations and hand-over to AO for continuous maintenance.
Clean up of old objects
o Review all queries in the system and work with the business responsible to remove redundant queries.
o Review all process chains and work together with AO team to remove redundant objects.
o Other objects to be reviewed.
