Description
Our client is seeking a Group Financial Controller to be responsible for Group financial planning, performance and stakeholder management. This is a senior level role and the candidate needs to be able to stand in for the Chief Financial Officer.
Key responsibilities
Implementation of new Group financial planning budgeting, forecasting processes focusing on business drivers
Custodian of the Group's financial projections and modelling
Commercial reviews/support of new business opportunities including bids and M&A
Management of the Group's funding requirements and banking groups
Support project manage the exit process dealing with external advisors
Person specification:
Essential:
Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA Accountant
Experienced PE FC/FD with the maturity, gravitas and experience to influence senior colleagues
Strong commercial bias with a proactive hands-on approach
Ability to
initiate and implement change
work flexibly, under pressure, and to meet demanding deadlines
prioritise and manage conflicting demands
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Desirable:
IPO and or PE exit experience
Raising finance in public markets
Relevant commercial bid and M&A experience
