Position Description:
Thoroughly test software applications in a highly complex Unix Client Server environment. The position will require the candidate to participate in the design, testing, and verification of Unix Host and Web server applications. The QA Engineer will also be responsible for writing test plans, documenting bugs, and communicating with Development, Operations, and Product Management. This position may also require some programming, specifically Unix Shell and TCL Scripting.
Experience Level: 6-10 Years.
Skill Set:
Must be fluent in Unix and Windows environments and have strong software testing experience. Must be familiar with QA test and bug reporting concepts.
Strong demonstrable knowledge of Networking, Active Directory, Virtualization, and Load Balancers
Knowledge of systems engineering, design, planning and deployment
Ability to analyze, diagnose, and propose solutions to system problems
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot system problems in a complex and varied systems environment
Experience with various mobile platforms and cloud computing
Experience in SQL Server administration
Experience working in a multi Domain Environments
Experience in Windows Server 2003,2008 administration
Experience in Citrix XenApp 4.5 or above, XenDesktop support/administration
Experience in Powershell, VBscript, and/or server load testing tools.
Experience in IIS, Tomcat administration
Experience in Linux or AIX
Experience developing and supporting logon scripts and process automation
Strong understanding of print work flow in Terminal services, ICA and VDI
Ability to apply and develop test methodologies including writing test plans and test cases.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
Ability to work under aggressive deadlines and meet project commitments.

5 years + experience in Windows Server 2003, 2008 administration
3 years + experience in Citrix Xenapp 4.5 or above, XenDesktop administration
5 years + experience in Microsoft Active Directory
3 years + experience in VMWare, ESX, ESXi .
