My client, a leading professional studies organisation is looking for an inbound (Editorial & Social Media) Marketing Manager to join the digital Marketing team on a fixed term contract basis. The focus for the successful individual will be to manage the organisations editorial content and develop the social media proposition ensuring the on- and off- site digital content is engaging, relevant, timely and accurate.

You will need to be passionate about all aspects of digital media, with significant experience working towards and reporting against KPIs. You'll have extensive social media and content management experience ideally with a broader understanding of digital marketing, within a large multi-product organisation.

Essential Experience:
Significant hands-on experience in developing on-site editorial and social media as inbound marketing channels

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, applied through web content and social media marketing
A deep understanding of social media usage and behaviour

Management of large content driven websites, with a thorough understanding of editorial processes and controls
Excellent hands-on knowledge of SEO and ability to concert
Social media marketing programs and word-of-mouth campaigns (including blogger/influencer outreach programs)
Excellent understanding of website usability and user experience
Landing page copy writing, production and testing
Managing and representing commercial brands in social media
Social media as a support and service channel
Passion for social media and community building online, including knowledge of social media platforms as well as tools of the trade
Reporting and analysis of KPIs using a mixture of social media tools and Google Analytics, with ability to demonstrate ROI
Thinking, planning and executing under pressure
Solid experience of reporting against set KPIs and able to demonstrate ROI
Line management, objective setting and delegation
Knowledge of, and contacts within, the UK social media industry
Working in a busy, multi-product, environment with numerous projects and stakeholders
Work history within an education, legal, accounting or professional services organisation
A background in B2B and B2C marketing
In order to be a strong match for this role you will need to have a genuine passion for digital media and innovation. You will need to be personally interested in social media; Twitter/Facebook/YouTube/blog contributor.
