Procurement and Contracts Mgt Executive - Mobile Telecoms, Outsourcing, Managed Services, Contracts, Software, Hardware, Network
An exciting opportunity to work as an Procurement and Contracts Mgt Executive for a blue chip mobile telecoms company based in Berkshire. Consistently deliver commercially sound and effective contracted solutions throughout all phases of the life cycle, sometimes operating in more than one phase at a time and comfortable operating 50% of their time in pre-contract and 50% in post contract phases.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver commercial acumen, good practice procurement techniques and maintaining comprehensive and clear audit trails of documentation recording the evolution of the procurement process from kick off to contract completion.
* Proactively manage risks and provide subject matter expertise in procurement options and ask searching questions as to the value to the business and merit of proposals being placed on the Procurement Team.
Key Skills
* Proven record of project managing teams up to 20 strong, comprising multi-disciplinary team members working together on projects and assignments
* History of engaging with multiple stakeholders (at least on of which should have been at CxO level) to either resolve managerial or operational difficulties or provide direction and advice in the creation of a strategy
* Well developed hands-on competence producing business cases, commercial models, negotiating strategies, procurement strategies for procurements of at least £10M.
* Demonstrable sourcing background across at least 2 categories.
* A strong understanding of Procurement within technology/telecoms is preferable.
