The company
This company manufactures precision Aerospace components for Aero Engine Controllers to very tight tolerances.
The Role
there is an ongoing need for Manufacturing technicians to join the team initially to work as a turner setting and operating lathes with fanuc controls. the components are of small to medium size and are mostly metal components.
Prior experience
Turning
Okuma lathes
A mechanical or engineering apprenticeship is preferred.
Experience setting and operating a variety of CNC machinery.
Other:
Daytime work but with a need to be flexible regarding start and finish times and a willingness to do overtime.
Technical: Lathes, Turning, Set, operate, Fanuc, Pumps, Valves, Mill, CNC.
