Junior Mechanical Design Engineer (Autodesk Inventor)
Our client, a leading R&D company based in Royston, are seeking a mechanical design engineer with at least some demonstrable experience of using Autodesk Inventor Modelling software in a manufacturing environment (including Autodesk Vault).
The mechanical design engineer will be working as part of a project team, supporting the mechanical design of engineering products and projects. The design engineer will also keep documentation up to date, and carry out modifications in Autodesk Inventor. The design engineer will also support the other design engineers in the team, delivering projects on time and within cost, using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.
Skills required:
-Some demonstrable experience of using Autodesk inventor and Autodesk Vault
-Excellent computing skills- Word, Excel..
-HNC/HND in an engineering subject, preferably mechanical or production engineering
This is an excellent opportunity to work for one of the market leaders in this field, and to gain some valuable experience within a highly challenging environment. The role is for 3 months initially with the possibility of extension at the end. The hourly rate is negotiable, but likely to be between £15-£20 per hour, depending on experience.
