- Project Description:
The SAP MDM service is part of a centralised project team supplying experience and expertise across all reporting levels: from horizontal to vertical, from operational to management level reporting. The team is predominately project focused, providing end to end involvement from inception to implementation. Members of the team work independently with both external partners and the business to successfully deliver projects.
We aim to deliver all of our projects into a unique, best-in-class, enterprise level data warehousing and MDM solution; providing organisation-wide and cross platform master reference data and reporting.
Use of a strategic and centralised platform helps promote consistent application of concepts, standards and technology across the organisation, ultimately guaranteeing the long-term success and use of Business Intelligence within our client and for this role, Master Data Management particularly.
Role Description:
A Senior SAP MDM Developer working in the MI CoE would be expected to deliver technical expertise to an exceptionally high industry leading level. Due to the senior nature and level of experience required we would expect the developer to co-ordinate onsite/Off-shore team activities to ensure that the deliveries are with good quality and on schedule. Moreover, he/she would be extremely self-motivating, self-starting, and independent. Project work will involve extended exposure to the business, frequently senior stakeholders, so high levels of confidence, knowledge, professionalism, and positivity are essential.
Experience and Qualifications required
Technical : - Essentials:
.Full life cycle implementation experience with SAP MDM.Data modelling: configuration of repositories of masterdata objects
.Set-up of data integration processes: import- and syndication mappings
.Development of masterdata processes by means of a MDM workflow
.Experience with developing custom user interfaces for SAP Netweaver MDM by means of MDM API's like for instance SAP WebDynpro (Java)/Portal/SAP Netweaver MDM webservices
.Domain expertise in one or more of the listed master data domains - customer, vendor, product, material, countries, etc. (desired)
.Data quality: set-up of validation expressions and assignments
.Integration with third-party services like Dun & Bradstreet.
Soft Skills:
. Expertise preparing and facilitating workshops/demos for design and implementation of MDM Solutions
Nice to haves:
.Experience with designing and implementing Data Governance programs involving MDM or custom Governance solutions
.Experience in SAP MDG.SAP BW knowledge
.RevTrac knowledge
.Business Objects Data Services
.Exposure to latest SAP technologies (for example, HANA or BI Mobile)
.Experience of non-SAP tools (for example, SSIS or ControlM)
The candidate must have 4-10 years minimum SAP Netweaver MDM technical experience.
