Description
We are seeking a Microsoft Systems Engineer living in Brisbane or willing to relocate to this area for an exciting contract opportunity. You will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality solutions across multiple industries. The ideal candidate will be a subject matter expert with extremely strong and confident communication skills along with great technical skills.
Responsibilities May Include:
- Desktop Deployment: Execute small/Medium-scale desktop deployments without productivity or data loss
- Platform Migration: Assist in the migration of platforms to the latest Microsoft operating system
- Server Consolidation: Maximize resources that are under-utilized to increase reliability and centralize administration
- Enterprise Directories: Deploy enterprise-wide business directories to lower administrative costs, coordinate end-user accounts, and reduce development costs
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required Minimum 2 + years experience in the following:
- Architecting and engineering one or more of the following in an Enterprise Environment: Microsoft Active Directory; Microsoft Exchange; Microsoft OCS or Lync; Microsoft SCCM/SCOM.
- Networking: networking protocols, network design, backups, security, monitoring, hardware load balancing technologies

- Experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure design and implementation with Citrix XenDesktop and Citrix XenApp
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- MCITP/MCSE Certification
- Windows 200x Certifications
- Exchange 20xx Certifications
- CISSP/ITIL/Security+ nice to haves
