Description
Successful client requires a Mechanical Engineer with strong experience across design, development and manufacture of engine based products.
With a background in the automotive arena the Mechanical Engineer will typically be:-
- Responsible for product design and manufacture of hydraulic equipment used in engine design
- Able to produce relevant calculations
- Project managing multiple projects
- Liaising with clients and suppliers
The Mechanical Engineer must have:
- Minimum 5 years commercial experience
- Expertise in CAD (CATIA, Solidworks, Inventor or similar)
- FEA, FMEA tools
- Excellent communication skills
- Good computer literacy
- BEng degree or similar
This is a long term contract with initial 12 months. Average length of existing contractors in the company is 4 years. Client is global and have long term order book.
